A Hotel for Street Kids

Street Children

Because they are worth it!

In a former hotel complex in a small village 12 kilometers outside of Sucre, TOS Ministries International began building a Transformer House for street children and children in vulnerable situations in 2005. With just a few renovations, the former hotel complex with its spacious grounds was transformed into a paradise for children. In a social environment where a child's life is not worth much, we wanted to make a statement of hope by choosing a former luxury hotel. Every child deserves the best we can invest in them.

The need of children in Bolivia remains as great as ever. Following the COVID pandemic in recent years, the authorities in the Yotala region estimate that there are around 2,000 children living as half-orphans or orphans in very vulnerable situations.

One example is Yuvisna. She grew up with her two half-siblings with her single mother. Her mother's changing partners, increasing alcohol consumption, severe neglect and domestic violence dominated Yuvisna's life. She was rescued from this situation at the beginning of the year and has been living safely in the Transformer House ever since. In addition to Yuvisna, other children have already found a new home with us this year. We are expecting more boys and girls by the end of the year, some of whom are already in contact with us.

We are looking for sponsors for our new charges. Would you like to help? Sponsor a child! You can sponsor a child for as little as one euro a day. Every euro goes directly to the children without any deductions. You will receive a donation receipt for your support and can end the sponsorship at any time without giving reasons.

Here you can find out how you can become a sponsor.
