Vacation Fun

Bolivia Street Children

In Sucre, Bolivia, the vacations are coming to an end, but the team of our local project is not running out of creativity for the workshops in the vacation program.

Just recently, they made pencil holders with animal designs out of toilet paper rolls with the children.

For children who are otherwise often left to their own devices, whose parents are usually absent in order to somehow earn a living for the family, or who try to drown their problems in alcohol, it is often an unprecedented joy that adults take so much time for them and take them seriously in their needs.

In the Transformation Houses in Sucre and Lima and in the prevention work in Guayaquil, Abdón Calderón, Asunción, as well as in the Day Care Center in San Salvador de Jujuy, children can experience for the first time or in a completely new way what it means to be valued and wanted.
