Back Outside at Last!

Peru

Every Saturday, we hold creative workshops for children and adolescents in the poor district of Lima.

For the first time since the pandemic began, we are back to having as many children as before.

Every Saturday, we used to have 60 children who played, made crafts, painted, danced and played music in the workshops in La Victoria, one of the slum areas in Lima, Peru. During the pandemic, the team switched to online workshops and came up with many different creative program ideas that the children could participate in from home. For a while now, it has been possible again to have workshops not in person, but also active games and activities outside.
