Much of the costs and medical care is covered by the public health insurance. In South America, this is not so easy and quickly becomes expensive, since all medication has to be paid for and procured by the patient.

A nurse with many years of experience from Germany is currently traveling in Ñemby, Paraguay. There, in cooperation with our team, she has set up a mobile health post that serves to provide initial medical care to the people from this poor area.
