The work began during a time of upheaval and uncertainty, but through love and commitment, it was possible to create a constant source of hope and support where people who had been abandoned by society and their communities were able to find new hope.

A former rehab patient, who now leads a stable life, is married and has five children, described it this way, “Even after many years, I still feel at home when I come to the Rehab Center. My life started over again here, and I will be forever grateful for that.”

The mayor at the time described what has happened over the past 25 years as follows: “A few young people came with shining eyes to start the work. Today, their eyes still shine.” The chairwoman of the Ideology and Youth Authority was touched by the family atmosphere at the Rehab Center and said that this sparkle in the eyes had spread to all the rehab patients.
