Balerio Estacio is a slum area of Guayaquil, which the authorities described as the area with the greatest need. People there live in the most basic conditions. There is no running water and no regulated garbage collection.

With workshops, vacation programs and adult education, they offer children the chance to get off the streets and break out of the vicious circle of drugs, violence and crime. The 10th anniversary of the work was celebrated in a big way and attracted a lot of interest in the neighborhood.
